Free Notary Services

Free notary services are provided by our office manager Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. This service is available to students enrolled at Texas State University-San Marcos only. Notarizations are limited to two documents per student per day. Bring a government issued ID that contains a photograph and signature such as a driver's license, passport, or military ID. Student IDs are not acceptable. Do not sign the document prior to bringing it to the notary.

Due to the large volume of requests for this service by students,
notarization is not available to staff and faculty for personal documents.
